speeds and a wealth of convenient features such as three zoom lenses
that cover a wide range of magnifications, Auto and Manual Masking,
Auto Centering and three-way paper supply. Other options include
Bi-modal Printing, Book Format Printing, a variety of film carriers
and controllers for handling different types of film, and more.
Reader-Printers
Since micrographics relies on the miniaturization of documents, a
mechanism is required to project the image back to a readable size.
These devices are known as readers. Although it is often
enough to simply view the projected image, it is much more common
for viewers to want a print of hard-copy of the image. The
devices that can both project the image and deliver a print are
referred to as reader-printers. Although Minolta does
not manufacture any readers, we do have a full line of
reader-printers.
