DocuWare LINK enables you to integrate documents filed in DocuWare
with your existing applications, such as accounting or human
resources - simply and without programming. Upon keystroke, DocuWare
LINK displays all documents which correspond to the context
currently being processed in your application, e.g. all invoices of
the customer in question. DocuWare LINK also helps you when filing
documents: relevant keywords are read from or your application by
DocuWare LINK, and are transmitted to DocuWare's filing menu.
How it works
Suppose you are working in another Windows (or DOS)
application, e.g. a database or materials management software, and
wish to view the document which corresponds to a transaction. This
is easy with DocuWare LINK: it reads the previously configured
search criteria from your program, searches the file cabinet for the
appropriate document and displays it. Using this same method,
DocuWare LINK can also read the search criteria from your
application per keystroke, and use this information to file scanned
documents.
